Feedback on ResLife Professional Staff from Colleagues

This page is available for colleagues to give feedback on Residence Life professional staff (other forms are available for students and RAs to give feedback). For your feedback to be used, it must be submitted no later than November 4, 2007.

Please note that while you must attached your name to any feedback you give (anonymous feedback will be discarded), your name will not be shared with the colleague you are giving feedback on. Any feedback given on this form will be sent to their supervisor only. They will need your name if they have clarification requests about your feedback. It will also allow us to be sure that each person who was asked has given feedback.

When giving feedback about colleagues, please remember the following:

•  The more specific, the more useful.

•  Supervisors may wish to follow-up with you to learn more about the feedback.

•  Evaluations are not a time for surprises. We hope that colleagues have shared concerns directly with our staff and we may ask if you have done so. If you haven't, we'll talk about how we could help you follow-up.

•  We are more concerned with an issue where feedback has been given and ignored, rather than those where feedback has not been given. This is especially true with interpersonal issues.

•  Supervisors are receiving a wide-range of feedback and will have to be somewhat selective about what is written into the evaluation.
