About the Alumni Lounge
Opened to Georgetown University students in November 2001, the Alumni Lounge was built with a generous donation from the Alumni Association. Its purpose is to provide all members of the Georgetown community with a place to relax, socialize and have fun. Since the Alumni Lounge opened its doors, the Student Affairs Department has worked to consistently add features to increase student’s enjoyment and add value to this popular hangout spot.

A number of enhancements have made the Alumni Lounge one of Georgetown’s popular recreation and meeting areas. The Alumni Lounge at Village C West is a great place to spend some free time. Georgetown students have demonstrated their support by using it on a daily basis.

Future enhancements such as murals, added entertainment, and new games will continue to make the Alumni Lounge a popular destination.
