Parents & Families
Living on campus is, for many of our students, their first time away from their
family home. This independence offers an important learning experience for
Hoyas. We encourage parents and family members to helps students make this
transition that is so important to their future life and learning.
Meet The Staff
Residence Life is proud of our diverse and talented staff, many of whom live on
campus to better help our residents. We hope parents and family members
will encourage students to contact our professional staff if they need our
support.
What
to Expect When Your Hoya Lives On Campus
Every Hoya has a different experience living on campus, but it's helpful to know
about the environment what's typical and expected on the Hilltop.
About Our Communities
Each community on campus maintains their own website to keep residents posted
about leadership and activities in the building. We encourage you to visit
these websites for updates about what's going on in your student's community.
About Our Residences
The Office of Housing Services maintains information on the residence halls and
apartments where students live on campus. Visit their website to learn
more about the space your student calls home.
Roommates
Learning to live with a roommate (or apartment-mates) is an important experience
for all our students. While this experience usually goes smoothly, we also
know that it can be a transition for many of our residents. When they
contact family for help, visit our resources on helping your student manage this
important developmental moment.
