Responsibilities of Living on Campus

Georgetown University has high expectations for our residents, because we believe it’s a privilege to live on-campus and at Georgetown.  During your first floor meeting, your Resident Assistant will go over most of these, but for more detailed information, we strongly encourage residents to visit the following pages.

Office of Student Conduct

This office adjudicates all alleged violations of university policy.  They partner with our professional staff, who adjudicate many of the cases that take place in the residence halls and apartments.

Housing Occupancy Agreement

This agreement details occupancy information including dates for move-in and out, selection of roommates, refund amounts for residents who move off-campus, charges for damages to individual or common space, and much more.

Community Living Agreements are established by the residents of each floor to create the basic living rules for those residents.

In this space, you can find events being hosted by our department, our student groups, Community Councils, and in Alumni Lounge. To determine if the event is open, and other details, click on the link for each event.
